Zorza, Śródmieście Południowe, Warsaw

I did my part in celebrating Canada Day with a maple and bacon French toast morning at Zorza. Turns out there it was a bit too early for most cafes, but Zorza was a more than worthy consolation. Service was efficient and friendly (despite not quite knowing each other’s languages!). I was happy to see a cold brew on offer and relieved it was as good as I was hoping for. As with everything else I have feasted on whilst here in Poland – fantastic value in the food. The maple syrup comes on the side so you can manage to your liking, but you’ll end up drinking it all anyway. Maple and bacon is a devilish combo. The bacon is delicious, fried crisp, and the cheese top gives it that crunch factor. The overrun edges are divine. The peppery rocket functions well to avoid it feeling completely heavy, though still obviously there as a token green. And I was in and out of Zorza in good time, ready to make the most of my final day in this lovely city!
