Each month in our office, we get a free lunch shout on the last Friday. Apparently it’s usually greasy, so that covers off my usual urge for pizza any other time of the month. March’s choice was Domino’s. The order was massive and there was seemingly endless boxes and boxes of pizzas, wedges, and odd chicken finger things. My experience of Domino’s here may have been tainted by the fact everything is a shade colder/ soggier/ weaker than it normally could be.
The pizza’s couldn’t stay hot, the wedges couldn’t stay crisp. It was a tragedy, if ever there was a good use for the word. I quite like the hawaiian equivalent here, which has mushroom. And the meatlover was also fair. The base is a bit more flat-style, but the cheese is nice enough. Compared to the Domino’s back home, there’s a more rustic feeling but I can’t keep feeling that it may have been just a more rushed feeling.
