Confusingly, not actually from Hokkaido or containing any Japanese ingredients, but it is in actuality, yes, a baked cheese tart. Is it worth lining up for? Yes and no. Anyway there doesn’t seem like there’s a queue these days so thankfully Melbourne has calmed down a little. I did rather enjoy my little $3.90 tart shell with oozy, cheesey creaminess. It was a nice bite although did leave too much of a buttery aftertaste for my liking and the shell is very thick. At almost four dollars for each bite it’s an expensive habit so coupled with only having a single menu option I don’t think I’ll be back too much. But they are good. So, maybe.
