A nice little setup inside the Target Centre in-between Chinatown and Bourke Street that was enticing enough; I was keen on a discount Thai meal as haven’t had one in rotation for a little while now. I was highly motivated to order something else from the menu but ended up going with the namesake, thinking it’s a signature dish or something, and had the chicken-themed Pad Thai for $12.
The order took a smidgen longer than expected but was well presented with decent flavours and a touch of sweetness and sourness. Slightly lacking for me, flavours in a pad thai should be a bit more bolder and there was weird bit in the dish I ejected. Definitely okay though, and perhaps some of the other menu items might have been slightly more successful for me. Good-sized and good vibe in the area so can’t go wrong.
