If you time it right, you can enjoy an absolutely fantastic best in market croissant that’s fresh from the oven. It’s rich and buttery with a delightful aroma and the perfect level of crunch as you go through layers and layers of pure delight. When the pastries from Agathé Pâtisserie are passed straight from the oven tray you know you’re in for a real treat. Nothing like blowing on the pastry.
I have a tendency to swing by when I’m short some calories for the day and have tried most of the stuff at Agathe from the desserts to the pain au chocolat, croissant, and tarts. The one pictured above is the chocolate custard danish, a new product with a chocolately filling that hit the spot for my afternoon. The simple stuff is the best here though. Whilst the other items are inventive, interesting and overall good, they never quite ascend to the same level as the croissant. Simplicity is best.
