Nestled in the food court dungeon of Emporium is a little and chirpy Japanese eatery called Tokyo Pop. They play terrible music but the food’s okay and the service is fast with charming service staff. I ordered the katsu curry chicken on rice and this was an alright dish with good value for under ten bucks and nothing much to really complain about.
I probably wouldn’t feel any immediate need to head back in a hurry but for a cheap Japanese option in town to fill a stomach quickly it’s totally viable. I think I’ve figured out the terrible music is part of a play to encourage you to finish your meal quick.
