A friend and I had a long overdue catch up over an early breakfast at Roule Galette, a crêperie I was keen to check out after reading some good reviews around the places. I dunno if we had as good of an experience, it was fine but we didn’t find the sweet options we had that spectacular.
I went for the Theo crepe, which was a with a homemade caramel, salted batter, chocolate and almonds with my companion going for the very tall Aumoniere with ice-cream, whipped cream and chocolate. The crepe itself was well done but for ten dollars it didn’t seem much more advanced than a few toppings and splashings of sauce around. The savoury crepe options sound quite nice so I could definitely be enticed to return to try those ones.
