It’s weird to think a brand new terminal at the airport has been cleared, constructed and is now fully functioning in my short time with the city of Melbourne. I’m a big fan of the wide, open spaces here as well as the exponential burst in eating options. Our work group often leans towards the wares at Brunetti’s here, they certainly do the best coffee around these parts and seem to have the nicest tables outside of the bars.
Naturally it’s an early hour when we are here and it’s grand to see a fully fleshed out cabinet with all the same treats as a normal Brunetti store. Being a morning hour I went for the Prosciutto di parma on focaccia ($14). This was served toasty warm, and the service is pretty fast which is a relief on the repeated gate closing checks. Fruit salad here was also yum but a tad pricey, but that has no bearing on me when I’m work expensing in any case. Brunetti brings decent caffeine and snacks that make killing that extra hour before the flight even more bearable. A great inclusion.
